La Ventana ocean safari
The Gulf of California is a unique and biodiverse marine ecosystem, home to one-third of the world’s cetaceans and 39% of all marine mammals. It’s the perfect destination for adventurers and wildlife lovers to become true explorers and join our La Ventana ocean safari. Spend six thrilling hours at sea, sharpening your senses to spot every blow, splash, or fin on the water’s surface – you never know what amazing marine wildlife awaits!
Discover the incredible biodiversity of this region with unforgettable wildlife sightings: dolphins including bottlenose, common, and spinner species, as well as sea turtles, orcas, sea lions, and sperm whales. Depending on the season, you may also see oceanic manta rays, humpback whales, migratory mobula rays, and even the largest animal to have ever existed: the blue whale.

Join our marine wildlife tours in La Ventana, Baja California Sur, for an adventure filled with whale watching, dolphin encounters, and unforgettable ocean experiences.

We will sail in search of wildlife on our La Ventana ocean safari. While we always do our best to spot marine animals, sightings can never be guaranteed, as nature is unpredictable.

However, we carefully monitor marine activity reports and plan each day accordingly to maximize the chances of incredible wildlife encounters. Throughout the tour, we operate responsibly and respectfully, ensuring that no animals are harassed and that all interactions are safe and sustainable.
It's important to remember that following the Official Mexican Standard NOM-131-SEMARNAT-2010, swimming with whales in Mexico is not allowed, so we'll admire these giants from the boat and enjoy their songs with our marine hydrophone.
