Sea lions in La Lobera
Our signature trip, experience a truly special marine adventure through diving or snorkeling at the Espíritu Santo Archipelago, just a few hours from Cabo San Lucas. Connect with wildlife like never before, enjoy memorable encounters with curious sea lions, and discover breathtaking landscapes that will leave you speechless. You're just a click away from one of the best experiences of your life.
Our tour visits “La Lobera”, the largest sea lion colony in Mexico, home to nearly 400 playful specimens including adorable newborn pups. About 1.5 hours from the port of La Paz, this site is open year-round except for June, July, and August when swimming is not allowed because mating season.

Along the way, you may also spot dolphins, whales, sea turtles, and other fascinating marine animals. Our expert team provides a safety briefing to ensure respectful and safe interactions with the wildlife.

At La Lobera, sea lions are known for their curious and playful behavior, making every encounter unforgettable. Watch them swim, jump, and interact in lively scenes. La Lobera offer a unique chance to observe their natural behaviors up close. Snorkeling or diving with these sea lions is a truly remarkable experience for wildlife enthusiasts and families alike.
The tour includes also a stop at the beaches of Espíritu Santo for lunch, making it the perfect way to end an unforgettable day at sea. Departure from Cabo San Lucas is early, but the experience is truly worth it.
It's important to remember that we always plan our trips based on weather forecasts to offer the best experience; however, wind and waves are factors that can change without prior notice. If this were to occur during our excursion and due to conditions, we were unable to sail to Los Islotes, we would have a "plan B": the San Rafaelito sea lion colony, which is closer to our boarding point.
