DAY TRIP FROM CABO SAN LUCAS
Dive the Cabo Pulmo Marine Sanctuary
Giant jack tornadoes, bull sharks and wild biodiversity
Join us on our Cabo Pulmo diving day trip, a journey to a protected sanctuary that stands as the most successful marine park in the world. Located approximately 2 hours from Cabo San Lucas, this underwater paradise offers a unique look at a vibrant coral reef. We keep our groups small to ensure a relaxed boat experience and respectful wildlife interactions.
Cabo Pulmo is home to seasonal bull shark encounters at sites like El Vencedor, and massive schools of jacks that often form the famous "jack tornado." Surrounded by desert landscapes and turquoise waters, this expedition delivers professional logistics and the chance to encounter Baja’s most iconic marine species in the wild.

Expedition Details
We start our day driving from Cabo San Lucas toward the East Cape, crossing scenic desert landscapes and rugged coastal views. Once we reach the marine park, we’ll board our boat and head into the heart of the sanctuary to explore its vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life. After our dives, we’ll enjoy a fresh lunch at a local restaurant in the heart of the village. Once our time in Pulmo comes to a close, we’ll head back to the beach to finish our adventure and begin the drive back to Cabo.

Dive Site Selection in Cabo Pulmo
Cabo Pulmo is one of the most regulated marine parks in the world, a strategy that keeps the reef pristine but requires a unique "lottery" system for site access. To prevent overcrowding, the park assigns weekly quotas for each dive site; once a site reaches its limit, it closes until the park’s internal cycle resets. Because of this, specific sites cannot be guaranteed in advance. Access is decided through a daily draw where only one boat is allowed per site every hour. We manage these strict logistics to secure the best possible spots for your trip, ensuring a quiet and high-quality diving experience.
