Sea Lions Tour in La Paz

Snorkel & Diving at Espíritu Santo Island

Discover the Magic of Los Islotes

Join us on our signature tour and experience an unforgettable marine adventure at Espíritu Santo Island in La Paz. Whether you choose snorkeling or diving, you’ll connect with wildlife like never before—swimming with curious sea lions, exploring vibrant reefs, and admiring dramatic desert landscapes where the desert meets the sea. You’re just one click away from one of the best experiences of your life.

We take you to La Lobera at Los Islotes, the largest sea lion colony in Mexico with nearly 400 playful animals and newborn pups. Just 1.5 hours from La Paz, this protected site offers year-round encounters, except during the June–August mating season.

Here, sea lions are famous for their curious and playful nature—gliding through turquoise waters, leaping from rocks, and interacting with snorkelers and divers. Snorkeling or diving with sea lions in La Paz is a bucket-list adventure for families, nature lovers, and photographers alike.

After your sea lion encounter, relax on the pristine beaches of Espíritu Santo Island with a fresh lunch and wide desert-meets-sea views. Departures from Cabo San Lucas and La Paz are early, but the reward is a full day that combines adventure and quiet moments on the water. Along the way, keep an eye out for dolphins, humpback whales, sea turtles, and schools of mobula rays.

We provide safety briefings and share eco-friendly practices so your wildlife experience is both unforgettable and sustainable. Your next favorite ocean memory is closer than you think.

It's important to remember that we schedule our Espíritu Santo sea lion tours according to updated weather forecasts to ensure the best possible experience. Still, the Sea of Cortez can bring sudden changes in wind and waves. If conditions prevent us from reaching the Los Islotes sea lion colony, we activate our “Plan B”: visiting the San Rafaelito sea lion colony, located closer to the port, where you can safely enjoy meaningful encounters with playful sea lions in their natural habitat.
