Referral PADI Open Water

Finish Your Course in Cabo San Lucas

A PADI referral lets you split your Open Water course into two parts. You complete the theory and pool training at home, and then finish your four open water dives with us in Cabo San Lucas. Once you pass your check-out dives, you receive the same PADI Open Water certification, valid worldwide.

You'll need your signed PADI referral form from the dive center where you trained, proof that your eLearning and confined water training are complete, and a PADI medical questionnaire. Divers aged 10 and up are welcome, and minors must be accompanied by an adult.

The four open water check-out dives are completed in two half days, with morning or afternoon departures. Because the training is private, we can adapt the schedule to your vacation plans.

Your check-out dives take place in the Cabo San Lucas Marine Park, at sites like Pelican Rock and Land's End, just minutes from the marina. We choose the best sites each day based on conditions, so you can practice your skills comfortably while enjoying Cabo's marine life.

PADI referrals are generally valid for 12 months from the date you completed your confined water training. If it's been longer, let us know when you book and we'll help you with the next steps.

No problem. Before your check-out dives, your instructor will review the key skills with you in calm, shallow water, so you feel comfortable and confident before heading into the ocean.

Yes. We accept referrals from PADI and other recognized dive agencies, such as SSI or NAUI. Just bring your signed referral paperwork, and we'll take care of the rest so you can finish your certification in Cabo. Referrals from other agencies may need a short extra skills review before your dives.

• Swimsuit, sunglasses and a hat or cap • A sweater or jacket for the boat • Your signed referral form, and seasickness medication if you need it Private training, full scuba gear, drinks, snacks, reef-friendly sunscreen and towels are included. Personal travel or medical insurance is not, and gratuities for the captain and crew are always welcome but entirely up to you.

Since you'll complete four dives over two days, we recommend waiting at least 24 hours before flying. If your flight is close to your last dive day, let us know when you book and we'll plan the schedule around it.
