Small Group Scuba Diving in Cabo San Lucas
Discover the best scuba diving in Cabo San Lucas, from vibrant reefs to dramatic underwater canyons. Whether you're a certified diver or trying scuba diving for the first time, explore one of the richest marine ecosystems in the world.
We specialize in small groups to ensure a safer, more comfortable experience with personalized attention from your guide. With fewer divers per trip, you get more time, better support, and a more relaxed dive. Most dive sites are just a short boat ride away, in nearby dive areas like the Marine Park and the Corridor.
Cabo San Lucas Marine Park
The Marine Park is the closest scuba diving area to Cabo San Lucas, just minutes by boat from the marina and located inside the bay. Its compact layout allows quick access to several well-known dive sites in a short ride. The underwater landscape begins in shallow areas suitable for all levels, allowing a gradual progression from reef tops into deeper rocky reefs, steep walls, and canyons dropping more than 1,000 ft / 300 m. Notable sites include Pelican Rock, known for its Sand Falls, and Land’s End near the Arch, where remnants of a sunken ship can still be seen.
Marine life commonly includes moray eels, rays, and pufferfish that often gather in the shallows and may follow divers during the safety stop. Conditions in the Marine Park vary with season and ocean dynamics, influenced by the deep canyon in the bay. This mix of accessible dive sites, varied topography, and abundant reef life makes it a defining part of scuba diving in Cabo San Lucas.
The Corridor Area
The Corridor is a scuba diving area along the coast between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo, known for its generally calmer conditions and lower boat traffic. The underwater landscape features large coral formations, colorful sea-fan gardens, and sandy slopes that create a varied reef environment.
Marine life commonly includes turtles, rays resting on the sand, and whitetip reef sharks. Schools of eagle rays may pass in formation, and in winter humpback whale song can often be heard underwater while their blows and breaches are frequently seen at the surface on the ride out. Together with the Marine Park, the Corridor adds another dimension to diving in Cabo San Lucas, with coral gardens and sea fans that contrast with the rocky reefs of the bay.

Long time without diving?
Our refresher session is designed for certified divers who haven’t been diving recently, especially if it’s been over a year since their last dive, and want to regain confidence before getting back in the water. In calm, shallow ocean conditions, we review essential scuba skills such as buoyancy control, equipment setup, mask clearing, regulator recovery, and basic safety procedures. The briefing is adapted to your experience level and the time since your last dive, keeping everything clear and familiar.
After this practice phase, we complete a full ocean dive. Your instructor stays close as you regain comfort and confidence at your own pace. This refresher dive will leave you feeling prepared and ready to fully enjoy your next scuba diving experiences.
